With fall in full swing I though it would be yummy to make Cinnamon Oatmeal Flapjacks! I was going through a recipe book that I made along with my mom and sisters from a cooking class we took at a Bosch store years ago. Although the store sadly shut down, the classes we took there were great and we compiled tons of amazing recipes from them! Not sure who was the original author of this recipe, but it’s one you are going to want to Pin and use through the fall/winter seasons!

Very hearty and filling. Plus, they have no sugar in them! The applesauce alone adds just enough sweetness.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 to 1 cup flour
  • 1 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup raisins or chopped apple
Instructions
  1. Add first six ingredients in saucepan and cook until butter melts. Let coo slightly and add remaining ingredients.
  2. Pour or scoop 1/4 cup batter onto greased griddle and cook 3-5 minutes on each side. Serve warm. Enjoy!
