Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone’s Monday was bearable and the week is off to a great start.
Our weekend was busy and so much fun. I really need to get better at taking pictures of things other than Tyrion so I have more to share with you. Tyrion is all my camera seems to focus on lately, but can ya blame me? So darn cute!
Speaking of my little man, he got invited to a Birthday party on Saturday. It was circus themed and at a bounce and play center, how fun! We arrived and I was expecting to walk into the crowded room and have him break down in tears the minute he realized there was more than three people in the room. But, he surprised me and did so good for about an hour. Of course he was a bit small to play with all the excited kids running around, but he sure had fun watching them. We bounced a little on the blow up wall connected to the slides, and he thought that was pretty cool. After he started wearing down we said our goodbyes and headed home to see dad.
Another neat tidbit about the party was I got to supply one of the cakes! I think it turned out pretty well. I also have another cake booked for next weekend. A baby shower cake that is a winter wonderland theme. Should be fun to make!
Oh – side note – I wouldn’t be considered a true fan if I didn’t give a shout out to my Seahawks – they rocked on Saturday!!!! I have been to a game at CenturyLink Field and and that stadium is amazing! The 12th man gets all fired up and the excitement from the crowd is something you have to experience to understand. Can’t wait until Sunday – Go Seahawks!!!!!
Anyhow, last Sunday was spent lazily hanging at home until Travis got off work. I handed Tyrion off to him and headed out for dinner at my old bosses house with all my old coworkers! It was so fun to hang with the girls again, catch up a bit, drink some wine, and eat a delicious dinner made by one of the best chefs I know (my boss is THE BOMB at delish meals).
And that concludes my weekend. Pretty good if I do say so myself.
I have to share one more thing with you all. Tyrion is such the little stinker. He was helping me in the kitchen last night and I turned around to this –
Apparently we have outgrown our swing. This is truly devastating, I used it so much! Oh well, he does well on the floor now. I have several thick blankets I put him on so he doesn’t conk his head on the hardwood floors while he goes crazy kicking and squealing as he plays with his toys.
Aaaaand I’m out! Happy Tuesday all – I’m off to get in my bible study and workout finished! Still feeling great about my new plan + patience. : )
